My name is Chelsea Ferrari, El for short. Yes I know, Its awful. I have a weird name but I didn’t get to pick it. If I did I would of been called daisy, like the flower. Anyway a little about me uncase you want to get to know the mind behind my work. I’m 20 years old, 21 this year and I’m a libra, if that matters to you. I’m currently enrolled on the level 3 creative writing course at Nottingham college.

Writing as always been a big passion of mine, I love to express myself freely with the use of words. Aside writing I’m also training to become a parapsychologist/ demonologist and if you don’t know what that mean some people have called it being a ghost buster. This has been a dream of mine for many years and it has helped fuel my writing. Its one of the main reasons I started writing.

I had an experience which resulted in me writing a book on what happened. It’s always excited me driving in to the unknown because life’s full of wonders which need finding and I like to make that my hobby. I have seen a lot when it comes to the paranormal, my granddad died before I was born so I never got the chance to meet him however I have spoken to him a lot thought a medium, paranormal games and just by him visiting the family home. My passion for the paranormal is what kicked started my writing. I was never a big reading, in fact I use to hate it, but one day I decided I was going to try and read a horror boo. I loved researching it so I thought it would give me more information on it however when I picked that first book up I was immediately hooked so I started reading more and more than the need to start typing a story came to idea, I always enjoyed creative writing but never did anything with it until that day and since the I can’t stop writing. 

I have always been a creative person and I tried to dabble in all sorts of creative arts, such as acting, music, singing however I didn’t really find a true passion in them until writing came along. I always wanted to express my creativity however my confidence was always an issue. I wanted to express my work but couldn’t find the perfect way to do it until Writing came along.  

Dancing is another passion of mine as it’s another way that I can express myself.  My favourite type of books would have to be horror/ thriller. These are my favourite because they never fail to transport me to a whole other world of darkness and light. It’s exciting to see how dark this world could have really been. I’m also into comic books, marvel ones to be extract, as much as I like horror, marvel is really a happy spot for me because I have always been a fan of superhero’s and marvel is really where it’s at when it comes to superheroes. They know how to portray them in such a good light.
